Having graduated from DeVry back in the sixties, the Internet was not available to consumers. It was not until the 1980s that the personal computer became commercialized. Being the only girl enrolled at the Chicago campus, I had to always prove myself. I am sure that is why continuing education is a part of my daily life. I obtained my 2nd Class License while enrolled in school and went to work as a radio engineer for WNUS in Chicago. After living in Europe for a year, and returning to my home state, California, I worked in a Major Television Market (SF) and later went on to teach communications at the college level. Upon re-entering the High -Tech world I found my niche in e-marketing. There are less then 40,000 Certified e-marketers in the world today.
